ParkWise SG finds the cheapest car park for your stay. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and nothing you do in it is sold or shared for marketing.
Your location
If you tap the location button or allow location when asked, your phone's position is used on your device to centre the map and rank nearby car parks. It is not sent to us, and we do not store it.
What stays on your device
- Places and car parks you save, and your running parking timer (the car park, and when you started). These are kept in your device's own storage so they survive a restart. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes them.
- Parking alerts are set on your device. No notification service of ours is involved, and you can turn alerts off at any time in your device settings.
What reaches our server
When you search for a place, the text you type is sent to our server, which asks Singapore's OneMap service for matching addresses and OpenStreetMap's Photon search (run by komoot, in Germany) for matching place names, and sends the answers back. Both services receive the search text and our server's address, not yours. Like any web server, ours keeps a log of each request: your IP address, the time, the page or search text requested, and your browser type. Logs are deleted after 14 days. We use them to keep the service running and to spot abuse, and for nothing else.
Other services your device talks to directly
- OneMap (Singapore Land Authority) supplies the map pictures, so it sees your IP address and which part of the map you look at.
- Fontshare (Indian Type Foundry) supplies the page font, so it sees your IP address.
- Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze, only if you tap a Directions link, and then under their own policies.
Car park prices
Rates come from public data (LTA, HDB and URA via data.gov.sg) and are estimates. Always check the sign at the car park.
